I used to feel incredibly self-conscious and awkward, especially when trying to corral my kiddos for a family photoshoot. In fact, my personal experience with my son's cancer diagnosis made me realize just how crucial it is to have photos that capture those special moments in life. After scrolling through thousands of photos of my son, I realized that I didn't have many pictures of the three of us together (prior to my second son being born). That's when I decided to buy a camera, leave my corporate job, and dive into the world of photography.
